on august 8th we blessed cailin at church.
it's kind of like the christening that they do
in the catholic church. brady blessed
her with things we wanted for her in her life
like health, a strong mind, kindness, empathy,
faith, a sense of humor, and love. it was a very
beautiful blessing and brady did a great job.

this was the dress she was blessed it. its actually my
wedding dress taken apart and made into
a smaller version for her. everything on the dress
came from my wedding dress even these
sweet little shoes that you couldn't see cuz
the dress was so long, but they are too cute not to add.

there's the good smile i was looking for.she's finally happy to be out of that dress.
to be honest, i can't blame her.
it was rather big on her.

she's so beautiful! and I love those little blessing shoes, everything is 100 times cuter when its mini.
I love that dress, that is so neat to have so much meaning tied to her blessing. I just love that girlie, her cheeks are to die for. I love her sleeping pics, I just want to snuggle up with her and take a nap, there are also times that I want to suck on my fingers too. but not to appropriate when you are 30.
She is so sweet. I had Jackson's blessing outfit made out of my wedding dress too and our little munchkin on the way will have a dress made out of it as well. I love the shoes, that is a doos idea! I agree with Etta, there is something about mini clothes and shoes that are so stinkin cute!
She is SO precious! And I love the idea of using your wedding dress for a blessing dress! How come nobody told me that when Cat was a baby? Hmm... I still have baptisms ahead of me...
