our northeast road trip

last week brady and i took a road trip up the
east coast to see some different cities and check
out some schools he's applying to. we had a great time
seeing the northeast which neither of us had ever done.

this was to document our 1000th mile. we ended
up driving over 1500 miles total.

some of the great trees up there. fall
is so beautiful in this part of the country.

these signs were everywhere. they didnt like you to
turn very much in the northeast. it got a little
annoying at time. it was very rare that you
were able to turn left anywhere. even into shopping
centers. it got a bit confusing.

this was our little "pantry" in the back seat.
i didn't want to spend a lot of money eating out
so we brought our food from home.

there are several posts after this one showing the different places
we went. enjoy checking out our road trip adventures!!!

new brunswich, nj

we stopped in new jersey the first night
so that brady could check out rutgers university.
its his number one choice for grad school.

there were some really cool looking buildings
on the rutgers campus.

please let me in to study philosophy.

boston

we LOVED boston. it was such a cool, fun
city. we walked around all day and since its
known as the "walking city" it was pretty fitting.

this was the only pic we got of the both
of us the whole trip.

harvard

a yummy little restaurant where we had lunch.

this was their menu board. i thought it was really cool.
the philosophy building at MIT

MIT

and my favorite pic of the trip.

new haven, ct

this was our third stop on the road trip.
it was so pretty here, as you can see.

we went to check out yale, mainly because there
wasn't much else to see in new haven.
but what a gorgeous campus.

the best pizza place ever. one of my clients who is from
connecticut told me about it and that we had to go
if we were in new haven. so we made our way over and
stuffed our faces with pepe's pizza. dang, it was good.

philly-- BOO

we thought about getting the infamous
philly cheesesteak in philly, but
decided on the tried and true chick fil a
instead. this was the last day of our trip
and the first chick fil a that i saw. i had to have it.
