craft day

today was craft day for me. i did

a lot of freezer paper onesies and i
painted Cailyn's letters for her room.

that my belly got in the pic after i had
taken it. haha, thats what you get when
you're 27 weeks pregnant i guess.

my missionary brother

when i was in california we all put a package together
for preston. these are the two things i picked
out from the dollar store that i thought he would
get a chuckle out of and little did i know that i
would get a chuckle out of them too when he sent me
these pictures today. he's doing really well
and i miss him like crazy but am so proud of what
he's been doing. i also love to see that he still
has his great sense of humor!!!!

irish festival

today we went down to church hill in richmond for
the irish festival. it was pretty crazy and fun. there was lots
of people dressed in green, drinking beer, of course.

a silly irish man selling weird food to people who were
actually buying and eating it. brady was going to brave
the delicacy, but the line was WAY too long.
and we are pretty sure he was drunk. haha.

i can't believe that i'm even posting this pic
because it makes me realize that not only is my
belly getting a lot bigger, but so is my face. (sigh)

26 weeks

i'm feeling pretty good. i love my growing belly, but not
my growing broken out face. i had a doc's appt last week and she
said everything is looking great and that i should "stay boring".
so that's what i'm trying to do. just stay boring.

this is my 2 year old neice maddie. i just love this picture of her. it totally captures her personality and is probably my favorite picture of my trip out west.

a beautiful day

the other day it was so nice out
so brady and i decided to go walk around
maymont park. it was full of mom's pushing
strollers and small children running around
playing and looking at the animals. it made me
realize how near that is for me and i got excited...
and nervous. here are just a few pics of us walking
just off the beaten path, as brady always likes to do.

it looked like a tight squeeze for a pregnant lady
but i made it through the bamboo.

arizona visit

while out west i also took a trip to AZ to visit
my brother and his family. it was so much
fun to be with family playing games, eating good food,
and just hanging out.

riding in the train car without any kids
and yes people did laugh at us.

we waited over an hour but the pizza and dessert
we had was totally worth the wait.

some california geocaching

this was the view from one of the caches we found.
sooo pretty.

after a bit of searching i finally found this one.

it was hidden behind the fence on the ground.

this one was pretty easy and in the petco
parking lot, if you couldn't tell.

the last one we were trying to find never got found
and here is my dad searching for it with his head
in the bushes. it was all for nothing, but made
for a good photo.

sand dunes

yesterday my dad and i walked up the
sand dunes right along PCH. it was so pretty.
here's a view from the top.

and here is the dune we walked up. it doesn't look
that steep in the pic, but it kinda was.
