my school bus lover

cailin has a mild obsession with school buses.

we count them when we are in the car,

she talks about riding one constantly

and i know her little heart is going to be broken

when she realizes she won't be riding

the bus to preschool.  as much as i've told her that

she still doesn't get it.  a nearby

school parks a lot of the buses for the county

so i thought it appropriate to stop and snap some

pics of my bus loving gal at the school bus graveyard.

she was super upset that they were locked so she 

couldn't go inside and explore.

we made it out to the blueberry 

patch just in time today. (they close friday).  

we had a good time picking 

blubes and chasing cats.  

 it was all fun and games until the cat scratched

her rain boots.  how dare he/she?

disneyland here we come

we have a change bucket that brady

and i dump all our loose change in

this year i decided to use the money

for our tickets to disneyland in sept.

cailin and i had a great time sorting

and rolling the change.

sunday in the park

we took a little family trip to a nearby park

here in richmond on sunday afternoon.

luckily the weather wasn't too hot and humid,

but we were sweating by the end of our adventure

cailin had a great time seeing and feeding

the animals and running free.

 we saw a huge black bear up close and personal

 gigantic goldfish

 a baby frog

 and we ended with a walk through these

beautiful flower beds.  cailin kept chasing butterflies

and saying, "purple, my favorite" over and over.
