california here i come

i leave early tomorrow morning to go to this beautiful
place. california is one of my favorite places. i was
supposed to get there this evening, but that's a whole other
disappointing story. so instead i will be making my trek
to the warmer weather to visit with my dad, my crazy
goofy uncle and his crazy goofy family and my brother
and his family tomorrow. im very excited to be able to see all my fam
that i dont get to see very often. wish me luck getting there.
i hope for no more canceled flights tomorrow.

freezer paper craft

i saw this idea on my friend amber's blog and it sounded
so fun and easy that i had to try it. i have been loving
this crafty idea. i have actually made 10 onesies
that i have already given away and i totally forgot to
take pictures of them before i gave them to their prospective
babies, but here are the couple i did take pics of. i found that dress
at target and it came with the plain white bloomers so
i put a rainbow on the butt and gave it to my friend amy at work
for her one year old. amy loves rainbow colored anything so i
knew she would love this. here's the tutorial for this fun easy craft.

this is what ive been living with for the past couple months.
now don't get me wrong, i love a little beard on my
man, but this one was WAY TOO MUCH.

so finally the day came when he was to shave it,
but we wanted to play around with different
facial hair styles before it was totally gone
and here they are...

now that's more like it!!!

More Sledding

we got a couple really big storms the past couple
of weekends. these were taken about a week ago
but with the excitement of our baby girl these
pics kinda got shoved to the side. i wanted to post
the awesome hill and jump brade found to sled on.
it looked like a lot of fun, but not the sort of activity a pregnant
lady should participate in so i was the camera man.

but i did go down on my butt. as you can see
it wasn't very graceful, but it was fun
to take a little ride down the hill.

ITS A GIRL!!!

Yay, we are so excited for the arrival of our little girl Cailyn coming in June. We just got home from the doc's office and just wanted to shout for joy and say a big horray!!!

and brady got a proud dad's bracelet. he's still wearing it.
that's how excited he is. too cute.
