sledding

we got a couple really big storms the past couple
of weekends. these were taken about a week ago
but with the excitement of our baby girl these
pics kinda got shoved to the side. i wanted to post
the awesome hill and jump brade found to sled on.
it looked like a lot of fun, but not the sort of activity a pregnant
lady should participate in so i was the camera man.

but i did go down on my butt. as you can see
it wasn't very graceful, but it was fun
to take a little ride down the hill.

ITS A GIRL!!!

Yay, we are so excited for the arrival of our little girl Cailyn coming in June. We just got home from the doc's office and just wanted to shout for joy and say a big horray!!!

and brady got a proud dad's bracelet. he's still wearing it.
that's how excited he is. too cute.

half way there!!!

i hope you're not tired of these frequent belly pics, but
today marks my official half way point. i hit 20 weeks
today. i feel like my belly has REALLY poked out in the
last couple days. look at that thing. haha, i love it.

i have my ultrasound appointment on friday.
boy or girl??? stay tuned!!

avocado

ive been loving avocado these days so i was really
excited to find this HUGE one. YUM!!!

geocaching

geocaching is kind of like a treasure hunt. i became familiar
with it from my uncle jamie. brady and i have been very
interested ever since we accidentally happened upon one
a few weeks ago. what you do is go to the geocache website
and find hidden caches in your area. once you've selected
a few you put the coordinates into your gps device and
follow it to the locations. its really fun. we spent a couple hours
doing it this morning and here are our finds.

here is brady trying to navigate us to the location
of the first geocache. we tried doing this a couple weeks ago
with our iphones, but it wasn't very accurate so we
went and bought a handheld gps and it was much
easier to find the caches.

find #1. we added our name to the log "book".

find #2. this was a little treasure that was found with the
cache. you aren't supposed to take anything unless you
can leave something of equal or greater value.
since i didn't have anything to leave
i put this TGI fridays wipey back in the container.

find #4. and again we added our name to the log "book".

and find #5. this one was a toughy. we had actually tried
to find this one previously with the iphone, but had no
luck so when we went back with the gps it helped, but
was still hard to find. it was hidden pretty well, but i was
determined to find that little bugger.

18 week belly

its amazing what 2 weeks can do.
and 2 weeks from today we get to find
out if this is a girl or boy!!! yay, cant wait.
