crafty

i've been trying to get my sewing machine out more
and make some fun things so i've been blog
stalking in the crafting dept. i'm always in awe of the things
my friend amber makes and wish i was as talented as her.
maybe with a lot of practice. i found this cute pillow
here and decided i'd give it a whirl. although it was easier
than i thought there are still a few imperfections. i'm very
happy with it though and am excited to begin new projects.

climber

cailin decided she wanted to finish off the
rest of the crumbs on the tray of her walker yesterday
so she took it upon herself to climb up and enjoy.

9 months

the outfit is compliments of daddy

cailin has hit the 9 month mark. she's so
much fun and her little personality
is starting to come out. she's definitely
silly, laid back and just happy, but
a bit impatient, especially when eating,
getting dressed, and diaper changed.
her new tricks include:

crawling everywhere
signs "all done" and "more", but only sometimes
has had her third tooth come in
found out she's allergic to cinnamon
and loves books

weight: 17 lbs (10-25%)
height: 27 inches (25%)

guilty pleasures

these are just the small things in life
that make me happy. i know they are
totally trivial and silly, but they are the
few little guilty pleasure i indulge in.

you'll almost always find a jar of chewy
fruity candies some where in my house.
i'm not a huge chocolate fan. i prefer fruity.

the real housewives of O.C. its a total train
wreck that i can't turn away from.

the bachelor. love this show.

and buying cute little girl's clothes.
having girls is very dangerous.

baby gates

um....excuse me.

why are you blocking me from getting into the kitchen?

fine, i'm leaving.

as you can see we've put up some baby gates to let cailin
roam around in a smaller area. she doesn't seem to mind,
but will crawl to the gates, stand up and look around
seeing if we will let her in and when we don't she leaves.

on a sunday

here's my cute girlie right before we headed
off to nana's for the afternoon.

there's all sorts of fun things to do at nana's.
we roll the ball then crawl around...

...and catch it. then put it in our mouths.

we pull up on her glass tables...

...and walk along the laundry room door...

...then reach up and grab this trinket.

yep, nana's house is fun!!!!
