its sooo haaaaat

this was my attempt to have a good
attitude about the weather.

brady's attempt was not so positive.


the other day we decided to go down to the river
to cool off on such a hot day. big mistake. it was even
too hot to do that. we got on our bathing suits,
packed a lunch and brought books thinking that we'd
be there for a few hours, but one hour is all we lasted.
its just too hot and humid. i HATE this weather.
bring on the fall!!!!

oh and please excuse brady's "nakedness'.
he does have a bathing suit on, i swear.

brade's first time

here it is folks. brady's first time holding a baby.
his sister, bryn, came into town last week
and this is her cute little guy dustin. he warmed
up to brade pretty quickly. notice his cute little
hand on brade's chest. awwww, love it!!!

a night time scare

the other night we were woken up by a crashing of glass. brady jolted out of bed thinking someone had broken a window and was in our house. it was a pretty freaky feeling especially knowing that we dont live in the best of neighborhoods. brady grabbed his gun from under the bed and slowly and quietly walked out of the bedroom fully expecting to encounter a person. instead he came across this candle that had fallen off our built in bookshelf. we were both very relieved and kinda laughed at the misfortune.

cable, you're dead to us

for a while now we have been toying with the idea of canceling our cable provider. for any of you out there who know me in the least bit you might think this would be horrifying idea for me. i LOVE tv. it's one of my guilty pleasures and i most definitely take my tv watching to the extreme. it's one big reason why i wanted to get rid of it. it will force me to decrease the amount of tv i watch. now don't get me wrong, it's not like i'm going to stop watching tv altogether, i'm just going to be a little more choosy. i've just chosen to watch what i can from the internet. i can download or watch what i want from the station's websites as well as watch things on hulu. it just seemed silly to pay for cable AND internet when i can get what i want by just paying for internet. so there you have it. bye bye cable box. see ya never!!!
