them anymore.  and she stayed in this position for about 

5 minutes.  no joke.

whenever we take off cailin's shoes and she sees

the marks it TEMPORARILY made on her foot 

she freaks and makes her scared noise (oooo, oooo, ooooo)

and fake cries/whines until they go away.  its weird.

today's events (according to my phone)

we started off the day with cleaning all the floors.

went outside to play in the makeshift kiddie pool.

mommy tried to tan her extremely white legs.

we threw a few buckets full of water down the slide.

then after nap time we went shoe shopping.

where cailin got her favorite color (llellow) balloon.

then came home and ate dinner then took a bath.

we watched an episode of peppa pig and then it was off to bed.

it was a really good day.

a big girl haircut with mommy

yesterday i had to take cailin up to the shop to

fit in a last minute client.  while her color was processing

i decided to give cailin her first really big girl haircut.  

she wasn't thrilled with the cape at first.

and begged me to take it off.

but once i change to a different cape and gave 

her a dum dum she was an angel.

about a month ago we took a trip out to VA beach

to see my good friend jackie and to let our kiddos play.

cailin and tucker are just 2 weeks apart.  they are still in that

i'm not sure how to play with other kids so i'll just play

around you phase, but they are still so stinkin' cute.

here they are at a  fabulous park near jackie's place.

 hmmmmm... what to do.

 tucker was the master of the slides.  no fear.  cailin on the 

other hand was a big wussy pants.

year olds to look at you with a semi normal face for a picture.  

oh well.  we tried anyway.

hard day's work

after writing up her documents,

 crunching her numbers,

 and making difficult phone calls,

 cailin took a well deserved break and played

in the fountain outside of my dad's office.
