art wall maddness

we went to a cool richmond wall art exhibit

a couple weekends ago.  several artists from all

over got to express themselves on the walls

of the old GRTC bus depot.  we had a great time

seeing all the different styles of painting

and enjoying the nice weather that has come our way.

this particular wall was fun because people (mostly kids)

got to go up and drip paint down the wall.

 brady took cailin up to spill her color

of choice.  she picked purple, of course.

afterwards we enjoyed some delish 

homemade popsicles by this love sign.

cailin was kind enough to share hers with me.

such a sweet little girl.

disneyland!!!!

get ready for picture overload.

we had a FANTASTIC time at disneyland

last week when we went out to california

to visit my dad. i'll let the pictures do the 

talking with a few captions here and there.

little miss was so excited and ready for

disneyland all decked out in her

princess dress from nana and her pink hair.

                  mr toads wild ride                                   its a small world

these 2 stuffed their big, tall bodies into

one flying dumbo

she loved riding the rockets with papi.

but her favorite overall were the teacups.

we rode this about 5 times.  not that

much fun for a pregnant mama, but 

it was all worth it to see how much she enjoyed it.

next came toon town.

knocking on mickey's door.

we visited minnie's house where she 

got to dance with minnie and 

walk through her cute little abode.

next came an afternoon of spending time

in lines waiting to meet all the princesses.

this was by far the highlight of the day for her.

first we met rapunzel or tangled as cailin likes to call her.

and by the end of the day she was a

tired tired little lady.

 it was a most successful day at disneyland

and she's asked every day since if we can

go back.  i told her next time we have

to bring daddy.

preschool

yesterday was cailin's first day of preschool.

she's been excited and talking about this day

since we made a visit to the school back in may.

needless to say it was a looooong summer with her

asking me all the time when she was going to school.

her first day went as smoothly as it could.  she handled

drop off like a champ and walked her little self into

the school while a teacher guided her to her classroom.

she loved every minute and i just keep asking myself,

when did she get so big??  slow down my little.
