my little artist...again

this time she decided it was more fun

to paint herself than her canvas.

snowy times

we got a little dumping of snow last night

and wanted to take cailin out to "play" in it this morning.

she didn't like to touch it. she was fine to stomp around in

the snow, but if she fell down she would call out "puh" (help)

so we could help her back up. she would not put her hands down.

we thought we could stuff her into her snow suit

from last year. i guess she's a few inches too tall. haha

abc's

i was getting ready for work one day last week

and this is what i saw when i came out of the

bathroom. brady and cailin were working on her

abc's while hanging out in our bed. it is

her new favorite spot you know!!

lately cailin likes to sit in our bed.

thats usually it, she just likes to sit there, but today

she decided she was going to bring her lunch in and

watch her ABC app on the ipad.

takin a tubby

last weekend we got to spend some time

with the forgraves. this is lyla, she's just 5 months

older than cailin and they are finally getting to the

age where they can play together. it also helps that her

mommy brittney and i are pretty much BFFs.

on a 70 degree day in february...

its unheard of to have such a warm day during the winter

so we took full advantage and acted like it was spring.

we went swinging

looked in a wood choppin' log

climbed up on a tree stump

gave rocco a kiss

and a hug

ran away from daddy

stopped for a pose with mommy

appeased mommy by looking at the camera

and relaxed in the chair while playing with the iphone

cailin

i just have the best little girl in the world

and i wanted to take a couple minutes to write down

a few things about her mainly so i won't forget.

-she is fun and silly and likes to laugh.

-she's become a serious mama's girl.

-she loves to dance.

-she usually hates car rides, even if they are only 10 minutes.

-she stiffens her body when she doesn't get her way.

-she's very friendly.

-is deathly afraid of the vacuum.

-she doesn't say much, but understands most of what we say.

-she loves sesame street and yo gabba gabba.

-she's a great sleeper. 12 hours at night and 1 2ish hour nap.

-she loves to be chased and caught.

-avoids the camera at all costs.

-will do anything for an iphone or ipad.

-gives the best hugs and kisses.

-she's an easy fun loving little girl and i feel so lucky to be her mom.

daddy's hat

cailin decided to wear daddy's hat around

a couple days ago. usually she won't keep anything

on her head so when its her idea we let her run with it.

yeeeaaaaa!!!! daddy's hat is awesome!

lately cailin's new thing has been taking all these

"little people" and lining them up on our

tv stand. she's very careful and meticulous about

it because if one gets knocked over she says "uh oh"

and has to immediately stand it back up. thank
