my new lappy

i took the plunge and got myself a macbook.
i am very excited to own my very first computer.
i am sitting with glee as i type this very post from
my awesome new computer.

new haircut

so i've been doing this growing my hair
out thing for like 2 years. i was looking at
old pictures the other day and came across
some of me with my short hair and i thought to
myself, dagon, i look WAY better with short
hair. so there you have it. the long locks are
gone and will probably never return. i'm very happy
with my decision. are you??

bye bye blanket

this is my precious goose down comforter
that i've had ever since high school. it has
been through a lot and therefore has
a lot of wear and tear. it has developed many
holes which have let several feathers
escape. i'm very sad to say that it has seen
its last day in the andersen household due to
the abundant amount of feathers flying around.
bye bye precious blanket!!!!

snow day

we had no idea when it started snowing
yesterday afternoon that we'd be getting 7 inches.
its crazy. we haven't seen snow like this
in 5 years or so. it's been fun.

visit with britt

this is one of my BEST friends, brittney. we met in
hair school in utah. she now lives about 2 hours from richmond.
i went down there this weekend to hang out with her
and had a great time, talking, hanging, and of course, laughing.
this is us in true form. love ya britt!!!!!

climbing on belle isle

yesterday brade and i went rock
climbing outside for the first time
this year. it was an unusual warm february
day and we had a ton of fun. for those of
you who are familiar with climbing i
did my first lead climb and then "cleaned" the
climb. it was very exciting for me. i felt pretty hardcore,
like brady's sister, bryn. hahaha, she's hardcore.

i woke up this morning and found
brade in this interesting outfit of pj's.
if you're wondering, its his adult footie pj's, with
a hoodie under them and pajama pants
that look like jeans over them, half
zipped and one arm in one arm out.
it just made me laugh so i had to document it.

No beard???

The other day Brady decided to do his

yearly clean shaven face. It was such a rare
thing that I had to document it. He wasn't very
happy for me to take his picture after the deed was
done, hence the look on his face. Just for the record
I prefer the beard. It makes him look older
than eighteen. What's your preference??

Climbing

Matty was just so tired!!

Oh yes, its happened. We're back in the gym.
The climbing gym, that is. We took about
a 7 month break, but are back and are glad
to be stretching out our muscles on the
"rocks". Here we are the other night. My brother,
Matty came along to join the the butt kicking fun!!!

Such Great Heights

Here's a picture I came across of Brady from
back in Sept. when he went on a white water
rafting trip in WV. The day before rafting
the guys went climbing and Brady free climbed
up these rocks with no shoes on. Dont worry though
he dropped and fell into water. Its just
a cool picture. I like it!!!!

We have a tradition we've done for several year
where we pick names on Christmas Eve and
go to big lots and family dollar and buy
silly thing for the person we picked. Its our way
of giving and getting stockings. After we have finished
our shopping we go home and present our gifts
to the person we chose. Its really fun and we have a great
time screaming and yelling and having fun!!!!

World War 2 Memorial

Before we went to the game we were able
to walk around the mall in D.C. for about
an hour. We went to the WWII memorial
and walked around the Washington Monument.

Redskins Eagles Game

My dad came into town for Christmas and he gave
us tickets to the Redskins/Eagles game on Sunday
December 21. We had a fun time watching the Skins win,
but it came with a price. We froze our butts off!!!
